Ga Presbytery Re-constitutes Standing Committee
The Ga Presbytery has re-constituted the Standing Committee in accordance with the November 2007 General Assembly Council Decision.
The New Standing Committee comprise of the Presbytery Chairperson, Presbytery Clerk, Lay Representative on the General Assembly Council,Two Ministers and Two Lay Representatives from the Districts on a yearly rotational bases.Directors of the seven Departments would be in attendance.In selecting the two ministers and two Lay representatives,the New Presbytery Council during the orientation unanimously agreed that selection should be based on the alphabetical order in which the Districts appear .The following persons were therefore appointed:
1. Rev. E.B.B Sintim - District Minister Abeka
2. Rev. Frank M.Teyegaga- District Minister Tema Manhean
3. Catechist Daniel Markwei Mamah- Abokobi District
4. Mr. Emmanuel M. Mensah- Teshie District
Other members are Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey(Chairperson), Rev. Esther A. Adjetey(Clerk)and Mrs. Victoria Dako(Lay Representative on the General Assembly Council)
