ECUMENICAL PARTNERSHIPS
As part of the universal Church, the Ga Presbytery cherishes and encourages fraternal relations with other churches both of the Reformed family as well as other ecclesiastical traditions. There are particular strong ties with churches that are members of the Christian Council of Ghana as well as the Roman Catholic Church.
The Presbytery maintains very cordial relations with the interdenominational English-speaking congregations in Accra such as Accra Ridge Church, Police Church, Tema Joint Church and Teshie - Nungua United, and regards ministers serving there as members of our Presbytery.
Internationally, the Presbytery has a vibrant relationship with the Presbytery of the James in Virginia, U.S.A. This partnership, which involves mutual exchange of ideas and programmes, has grown into veritable symbol of sharing and friendship. Some congregations in both Presbyteries have taken the partnership further by developing a “twinning” programme between them.
